James Jervinis, DMD

Dr. Jervinis was brought up on the North Shore, attended public schools, then the University of New Hampshire, where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Microbiology.  A graduate of Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in 1981, he was awarded the degree of DMD Magna Cum Laude, and the clinical proficiency award in endodontics (root canal therapy).  He took over for Dr. James Connolly in 1984 in Salem, where he has remained since.  

Locally, he was the 78th president of the Salem Rotary Club, and chaired several committees.  He has been active with the North Shore District Dental Society, where he served as trustee to the Massachusetts Dental Society, treasurer, and president.

He is particular about continuing education to remain up to date with current trends in dentistry.  Dr. Jervinis enjoys time with his family and friends, golf, and high performance driving, which he has taught for the BMW club of Boston.  He resides in Danvers with his family.



Dr. Marc E. Pearlstein

In 1992, Dr. Pearlstein received his dental degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine.  Upon completion of a one-year general practice residency at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester, NY, he returned to the University of Pittsburgh to complete a three-year specialty residency in periodontics, the area of dentistry that focuses on the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of gum diseases.  As a periodontist, he performs cosmetic periodontal procedures, such as gingival reshaping and tissue grafting, to help you achieve the smile you desire.  He also specializes in the placement of dental implants, which are used to replace missing teeth or stabilize loose fitting dentures.  Dr. Pearlstein belongs to the American Dental Society and the American Academy of Periodontology.  He has been in private practice in the Boston area since 1996.
